- Guideline for 2022 Fasting Campaign
As the year 2021 comes to an end and the year 2022 begins, this is an opportunity for God’s people to seek the fulfillment of his promises in their lives. In 2021, lots of people worldwide experience many losses, challenges, struggles, setbacks, and disappointments, to say a few. In so doing, many individuals have been looking to God for some resolutions without success. One of the reasons for unfulfilled promises is how we exercise our faith.
As we search the scripture, we come to understand that there are five principles to exercising our faith: See it, Believe it, Pray it, Confess it, and Give in to it (John 20:2-8). A more detailed definition for each principle is noted below:
- See it – spend time in scripture to see, understand, and meditate on the promises of God for your life.
- Believe it – believe in God for his promises as you have seen in scripture
- Pray it – pray to God for the manifestation of his promises in your life according to scripture
- Confess it – confess God’s promises to be fulfilled in your life
- Give int it – be a blessing to the Lord with a sacrificial offering
These five principles will be the focus of our 21-Day Daniel prayer and fasting, which begins January 2, 2022. As you examine your life, begin to focus on at least one of God’s promises for your life. Second, search the scriptures to find at least three scriptures or bible stories pertaining to this promise. By searching the scripture(s) for yourself, you will begin to see God’s promise as revealed by the Holy Spirit. Third, begin to exercise your faith by believing in God for the fulfillment of his promise(s). Fourth, as you exercise your faith, start the process of praying and confessing God’s word over your life for the fulfillment of his promise(s). Fifth, make a sacrificial commitment to honor the Lord with a financial seed offering.
Remember what Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23). Therefore, “when you pray, say . . . Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven” (Luke 11:2). In other words, because we believe in what we see in scripture, we can pray with confidence for the will of the Father to be done in our lives as it is already done in heaven. If we have no doubt in our hearts but believe that those things we have said will be done, we will have whatever he says (Mark 1:23). Hence, “whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them” (Mark 11:24). Thus, as we pray and fast this season, let us believe, pray, and confess what we see in scripture about God’s promises for our lives.

Welcome to Healing Word Ministries Church of God
It's really about you...
You are important to God. More so than you can realize. It is our desire that people come to know Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord and experience His healing power and saving grace. We believe that every person should be connected to Jesus, connected to the Word of God, connected to God in Prayer, and connected to one another.
Why are we called "Healing Word Ministries?" Because we believe the Word of God heals every person. Every person is hurt by sin done to us and sin we have done to others. Our memories are loaded with destructive thoughts and patterns handed down to us. God is the only One who can fully heal a person of these effects and we invite you to come and experience the healing power of God.
