Our Pastor - Dr. Leecroft Clarke

Dr. Leecroft Clarke is an ordained bishop with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and serves as the Senior Pastor of Healing Word Ministries Church of God in Jamestown, New York. Alongside his wife, Rosemarie Clarke, he faithfully leads with a passion for healing, restoration, discipleship, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential in Christ.

A gifted and anointed teacher, preacher, and leader, Dr. Clarke lovingly and passionately encourages people through the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He carries a deep burden for those seeking healing, freedom, and wholeness, particularly individuals struggling with addiction, destructive behaviors, emotional wounds, and unhealthy spiritual strongholds. Through biblical teaching, prayer, and practical application of God’s Word, he ministers extensively on breaking ungodly and unhealthy habitual patterns and overcoming bondage through spiritual renewal of the mind in Christ.

Dr. Clarke’s ministry journey has included serving youth, men, families, and individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. His desire is for the church to radiate the love of Christ in every ministry and community effort through relationship. Prayer and the Word of God remain the foundation of every aspect of his life and ministry.

Beyond the church walls, Dr. Clarke is deeply committed to community transformation and collaborative leadership throughout Chautauqua County and beyond. Currently, he serves as the Director of Pastoral Care for Heritage Ministries. He previously served as the Project Director of the Chautauqua County Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, and Access (IDEA) Coalition. His extensive community service also includes serving as Chairperson of the Addiction Response Ministry of Chautauqua County, Co-Chairperson of the Racial Reconciliation Taskforce of Chautauqua County, former board member of the HOPE Chautauqua Coalition, and former member of the ESPRI Taskforce.

Originally from Jamaica, Dr. Clarke relocated to the United States at the age of 18. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree, a Master of Business Administration degree, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan University. Professionally, he has served in numerous leadership and management positions including Business Development Manager, Senior Account Manager, Aftermarket Sales Manager, and various engineering project leadership roles in both Jamestown, New York and Torrington, Connecticut.

Rosemarie Clarke serves faithfully beside her husband as an evangelist and prophetess. God uses her mightily through prayer, prophetic ministry, encouragement, and compassion to draw people deeper into the hope, healing, and love of Jesus Christ. Her ministry reflects a sincere passion for intercession, spiritual growth, and helping others experience the power and presence of God.

Together, Dr. Leecroft and Rosemarie Clarke come from a rich familial heritage of ministry and continue to impact Healing Word Ministries Church of God, the Western New York Region, the Church of God, and communities around the world through their faithful service, leadership, and ministry.
